The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Bashorun Askia Ogieh (FCNA, CrFA), has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, for being honoured with the coveted Zik Prize in Leadership Award on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Bashorun Askia, said the award is a recognition of the Governor’s uncommon leadership acumen and shrewdness which he brought to bear in Delta state.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Commission, the MD/CEO reaffirmed that Governor Okowa earned the award because of his strong commitment to developing all nooks and crannies of the state as well as political will-power to ensure spread of democracy dividends.
