The sole sponsor of Ebu Unity Cup 2019/2020, Mr. Ken Ekitu Agboma, has pledge his commitment to the continued empowerment of youths and the less privileged persons in Oshimili Oshimili North local government area of Delta state.
The United States (USA) based philanthropist, who hails from Ekpechor, Ebu has contributed enormously towards uniting all Ebu sons and daughters at home and in the Diaspora, through numerous youth engagement, assisting widows in the community irrespective of tribe, as well as contributing to the community development fund.
Meanwhile, youths of Ebu in Oshimili North local government area of Delta state have tipped Mr. Ken Ekitu Agboma to contest for Delta State House of Assembly in 2023, as a result of his immense contribution to the growth of parts of Oshimili North, especially in the areas of human capital development, which is the anchor point of the Stronger Delta agenda of the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa administration.
Through the Ebu Unity Cup 2019 football competition maiden edition, billed to commence in December, Mr. Ken Ekitu Agboma expressed his determination and interest in uniting all Ebu people through football fiestas and other wealth yielding schemes for self sustainability.
According to Mr Achebo Telojor Henry (Odogwu Anioma), the Organising committee of Ebu Unity Cup (EUC) include Mr Victor Agboma as Chairman, while Hon. Kema Egenu (Councilor Ebu Ward 2)/ Coordinator KEASO Oshimili North,.Mr Ucheojor Nwani, Mr Kenneth Omani, Mr. Edward Ebodiwe, Mr. Tunishi Etibokwu, Mr Achebo Telojor Henry are members.
