AZENUIE ASHINEDU VERA hails from Ndokwa West Local Government Area. She is the CEO of Jojo Fashion Empire located in Okpanam. Vera was unemployed for four years after graduation, but her story changed when she enrolled in the Delta State Government’s Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP) in the 2016/2017 STEP Cycle. She speaks on her success story three years after establishment with starter pack.

“Delta State Government trained me; now I am training others. I have trained six persons; four have established their fashion businesses. I am growing my business.  I have bought more equipment in addition to my establishment pack. I am grateful to Senator Okowa-led government for this life-time opportunity.

“From the proceeds from my business, I was able to acquire a plot of land in Okpanam in addition to assisting my husband financially towards the upkeep of my home.

“Job creation programme is the best programme for youths. Thousands of youths are beneficiaries, out of which I am one. The programme has exposed me to business networking. I have over twenty business partners I collaborate with to meet the demands of clients. STEP has improved my life immensely.”
