Christmas is here once again with joyful celebrations and an overflowing of warmth, goodwill and kindness in commemoration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, which usually ushers in wonderful tidings of great joy to all mankind in this Yuletide season.
The Delta State Government, in its concerted effort to cushion the effects of the harsh economic realities of the times, has been completely faithful and committed to the delivery of good governance and the dividends of democracy to Deltans through the M.O.R.E Agenda, especially with the welfare initiatives and social security empowerment programmes, like the D.CARES, the M.O.R.E Grants Scheme and the M.O.R.E BIz-Up programme, amongst others, which have not only impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of Deltans across the three Senatorial zones positively, but have brought smiles to their faces and songs and dances of joy and happiness to their communities this Christmas time.
As we go about with our Christmas activities, let’s us stay safe, law abiding, extend love to our friends and neighbours and be our brothers keepers, as we enjoy the Yuletide season in peace, unity and harmonious coexistence as one Delta.
