The Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Ifeanyi Osakwe has expressed readiness to partner with all progressive organisations to ensure speedy development of the local government area.

Hon. Osakwe dropped the hint recently when the Director-General of Ndokwa Initiative For Good Governance (NIFGG), Arch. Alex Ikoko and members of the organisation had a reception in his honour at Kwale.

According to him, on assumption of duty, he noticed areas that are in urgent need of developmental attention and emphasized, “I will partner with progressive organizations and individuals for our people to get speedy dividends of democracy.”

The Council boss commended NIFGG for been progressive in nature saying that he shares in the ideals of the socio-political organization.

Earlier, Arch. Ikoko had said, “Ndokwa Initiative For Good Governance is an association of Ndokwa sons and daughters of different spheres of life spread across the globe who have come together to work towards the progress of Ndokwa nation to make it stand out as the most progressive among committee of ethnic nationalities in Nigeria and the world.”

“The purpose of this reception is to celebrate the leadership team of Ndokwa West local government area headed by Hon. Chris Osakwe and commence discussions on how to contribute to the success of the administration,” Hon. Ikoko said.

Mr Udo Ekpah and Clement Akpe in a chat, said it was important for the people of the area to be progressive in their approach to issues and stated that with NIFGG, developmental programmes would be attracted from different parts of the world to Ndokwa West nation.
