Senator Nwoye Says Era Of Poor Representation Is Over, As Labour Party Is Best Alternative For Anambra

The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Dr. Tony Nwoye has re-stated his commitment to promoting constituents’ economic empowerment and development programmes through robust legislative engagements and accountable representation.

Senator Nwoye said that he would stop at nothing to offer unrivalled representation and attract the dividends of democracy to the good people of Anambra North and the State in general.

The Lawmaker made this known on Saturday at All Saints Cathedral Field Onitsha when he and other Labour Party Lawmakers were hosted by a socio-political group under the aegis of Save Nigeria Coalition, Anambra North Senatorial Zone during the Group’s grand reception and homecoming of elected political office holders under the chairmanship of Chief Okwudili Otti, the CEO Caltech Group Ltd.

Commending members of the coalition for their continuous and unflinching support for The New Nigeria project especially during the last General Election, the grassroot-friendly Senator heaped praises on Save Nigeria Coalition, stating that he was always appreciative of them and thanked them for their Support for the Presidential Ambition of Mr. Peter Obi.

He eulogized the Leader of the Coalition, Justice P.A.C. Obidigwe (Rtd) for what he described as his sterling leadership, noting that he has proven overtime as a leader with the interest of the State and country at heart.

Speaking further, Senator Nwoye stated that his representation in the red chamber will be people oriented, hinting that going forward election into public offices must be based on performance and winners reflecting the choice of the people.

The Medical Doctor turned Politician assured that the good people of Anambra North Senatorial District will soon start seeing the effect of impactful representation with the kickoff of his Thanksgiving/Empowerment Initiative which will hold on January 7, 2024 whereby over 15,000 constituents will be gainfully empowered.

He described the Labour Party as the best alternative for the State, stressing that the party is positioned in strengthening democracy and economic opportunities in the State, as Ndi Anambra are yearning for security, quality education, affordable healthcare services, infrastructural development, developmental policies amongst others.

Earlier in his welcome speech, the Chairman, Save Nigeria Coalition (SNC) Anambra State, Evang. Don Onochie described Senator Dr. Nwoye as a Senator of the first rank who puts quality representation above any other consideration.

Speaking further, the Chairman said that so far so good that the Senator is keeping his campaign promises and still doing more for the zone.

He assured of the Coalition continuous support towards the Lawmaker and Mr Peter Obi, adding that they would always align politically with the Senator and Mr Peter Obi.

Fred Chigozie Ezenwa (Member Representing Onitsha South 1 State Constituency), Justice P.A.C Obidigwe, Rtd (Former Chief Judge of Anambra State, among others.
