“BE GOOD AMBASSADORS OF AAU” ALUMNI PRESIDENT CHARGES LITERARY, DEBATING TEAM IN ABUJA

The Worldwide President of the Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association, Ekpoma Dr. Clifford Imade Omozeghian has charged the members of the Ambrose Alli University Literary and Debating Team to be good ambassadors of the university at all times.

Dr.Omozeghian made this charge when he met with the debate team of the university at the ongoing All Nigeria University Debate Competition taking place in Veritas University, Abuja.

As part of one of his administration’s agenda, which revolves round providing mentorship for students of the university through meaningful engagement, interaction and orientation, the Worldwide President, took time out of his busy schedule to meet with the debate team of the University, as soon as he learnt that students of his alma mater were in Abuja for this all important competition.

During the engagement and interaction with the Worldwide President, the debate team led by Sharon Eghosa, Lydia Adeymi Awelewa and Omoike Aimenehi intimated him with various issues affecting the Ambrose Alli University Litrary and Debating Society as well as some issues affecting the generality of students in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Dr. Omozeghian after listening to the students assured them of his continued support as his mentorship agenda is holistic and all embracing.

The President of the debate society thanked the Alumni President for finding time to be with them and for the fruitful interaction he had with them while expressing hope that they will do well in the competition as they had done in the past.

The debate team that represented the university include Sharon Eghosa, Lydia Adeyemi Awelewa, Omoike Aimenehi, Joan Nordiana, Sunday Daniel Akintomiwa, Edith Obianife Obiosa, Others are: Daniel Salami, Grace Abu, Favour Omokhomion and Courage Imasuen.

They prayed for the Alumni President and wished him well in all his endeavour.
