Edo State NIPR Chapter Congratulates New National President, Dr. Ike Neliaku, Others

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Edo State Chapter, has congratulated Dr. Ike Neliaku, Prof. Emmanuel Dandaura, others, on their emergence as President, Vice President, and members of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The election was held on August 24, 2023, during the Institute’s Annual General Meeting/Conference in Abuja.

In a congratulatory message, the State Chairman, James-Wisdom Abhulimen expressed optimism that the new leadership will transform and reposition NIPR for greater accomplishments.

The Edo State Chairman described Dr. Ike Neliaku as a notable Public Relations professional, development administrator, and researcher, adding he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the NIPR as National President.

Abhulimen said Dr Neliaku’s unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Public Relations profession in Nigeria and beyond is well-known, adding that his emergence as National President is a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in him by his professional colleagues.

“As the President of the NIPR, we are confident that Dr. Neliaku will lead the organization to a greater height, drive innovations, inclusivity, and professional growth and development,” he asserted.

The Edo State Chapter Chairman equally poured encomium on the newly elected Vice President, Prof. Emmanuel Dandaura.

He said Prof. Dandaura’s outstanding and impressive career in academia, Public Relations Research and Development makes him a valuable addition to the NIPR leadership team, stressing that his vision for promoting research and education will undoubtedly contribute to the continued development and professionalization of Public Relations practice in Nigeria.

He said the Edo State Chapter was excited and proud to identify with the new NIPR leadership at the national level and therefore pledged its unwavering support to Dr. Neliaku and members of the new Governing Council of the Institute as they assume their respective roles.

“We are confident that the leadership will inspire innovation, foster collaboration and strengthen NIPR’s enviable position as the foremost professional body for Public Relations practitioners in Nigeria,” he declared.
